Fitness Mad Trigger Point Massage Ball Set

This set of Trigger Point massage balls contain 3 balls with different levels of hardness, for acupressure massage and trigger point release.

Massage balls can provide a host of benefits to swimmers as well as other athletes, firstly they can help reduce muscle soreness and tightness after a workout, they increase blood circulation which helps to flush out toxins that cause muscles to ache and go stiff. Regular use of massage balls can help to stretch out key muscles, in turn giving the user greater flexibility. This works exceptionally well on the arms and legs. 

Choose a ball of suitable hardness and position it on the point to be massaged.

For the lower back or glutes start in a sitting position; for calves or thighs try either sitting or lying on the floor and gently roll around on the ball.

For shoulders & upper back place the ball between your back and a wall. For the neck roll the ball around between your neck and open palm.

3 different options of hardness have been provided to allow you to select the firmness of massage that you desire. The hardest of the 3 balls is great for post-workout use, it can get deep within muscle tissue and help greatly in reducing any pain, it may not be the most comfortable option but it will provide the best results. The softest ball offers a more gentle massage, helping muscles to relax. 

Use in conjunction with a foam roller for great results!
